Specialized Diverge

Gravel-icious. Lovely Specialized Bicycles Diverge in for some go and stop goodies. Shimano-MTB SLX cassette, Shimano-Road 105 chain and new pads front and rear. Those Shimano-Road GRX carbon wheels with tan wall Pirelli tyres are the dog’s doo-dads.

Giant Contend

Giant Bicycles Contend in for some work. New Shimano-Road cassette and chain, as well as a new PressFit bottom bracket. The Hunt Bike Wheels needed a new spoke, so new sealant and tape was applied to the tubeless setup.

Trek Emonda

A Trek Bicycle Emonda in for some care and attention. Recent fatherhood has meant the owner has had other priorities of late, but their partner enlisted Andy’s Bike Clinic to breathe new life in to it. Shimano-Road chain, cassette and bottom bracket, along with a replacement Continental Gatorskin tyre and new gear cables and brake pads mean that when the time’s right, it’ll be good to go.

Specialized Fatboy

Lighter than it looks, this Specialized Bicycles Fatboy needed its front derailleur re-fitting, along with a new gear cable. Shifting nicely now and also up for sale if anyone’s interested.

Boardman Intrinsic

This Boardman Bikes Intrinsic was treated to an Annual Service, and the result? “Thanks Andy. Meant to say bike running great, probably best it ever has.” Glad you’re happy with the work completed.

Ridley X-Bow

I do love a Ridley Bikes (yes, I am biased), and this one had developed an annoying squeak.

Hubs – tick
Pedals – tick
Seatpost – tick
Bottom bracket – oh heck!

Out with the old, and in with the new Shimano-Road Hollowtech cups and it’s now silent. Now shredding in a woods near you.
